As parents, we all get on repetitive trains of thought that make us worry or feel hurt or disappointed. Our kids will say or do (or not do) something we expected and before we know it we can't stop thinking about it. Over and over those thoughts play, making us feel terrible. In fact, once we get started it can be very hard to stop.
In today's episode, we are going to talk about what to do when we find ourselves ruminating about how we wish things were different. We'll talk about how to feel better now and stop those runaway trains of thought.
